Take Responsibility and Take Control
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | September 04, 2009 at 09:57 AM EDT | No Comments

Today we have the Detox step number four: “Take Responsibility and Take Control” believe it or not but 90% of the actions in your mind are non-conscious and only 10% conscious. Think about what your mind is controlling; your entire major body functions, major body systems, all the functions of your organs and cells all operating in an intelligently orchestrated symphony of life, isn’t God amazing. Your individuality implies and carries with it the taking charge of responsibility for your outward actions, 10% of your brains functions. God wants you to be well and complete. Here is where we get the terminology of “Mind Body Connection” you have to consciously think about what you think about which is only 10% of you brain power. Your spirit is saved and communicates with your mind which is fallen; once you master listening to your spirit… then your actions which consist of only 10% in your control will be in line with what you think about. This is a process called balance; which includes lifestyle changes. Do you think about your actions?

Rom 7:15-8:1   15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God's law; 23 but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

Study this text today and notice “Who will rescue me from this body of death” …Jesus did…that’s right JESUS did and because HE did you can take responsibility for your thoughts and actions…in Jesus name; AMEN.

Corrective Measure #3
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | August 19, 2009 at 08:31 AM EDT | No Comments

Today I am giving you the second step to “Detoxify Your Mind” here it is; “Frame Your World With Words.” Your five senses are the connection between the external world and the internal world of your mind. If you are flesh led these five senses are your guide for your words however if you are spirit led then your saved spirit is your guide. Consider how confusing it is to listen to both, the words you speak feed back into the mind, reinforcing the memory they came from. This is why the Bible says to hide my Word in your heart so the Word is the memory bank for your words. The world’s memory bank will make negative statements; these negative statements will release negative chemicals in your body. These negative words will make negative memories that grow stronger and will become negative strongholds that control you attitude and life.

I’m not talking about positive thinking here, framing your world with words is not just about talking positively. You can positively think your way right to hell. Your words must be backed up with the Word of God; honesty and integrity or congruence. What you say on the outside must reflect what you think on the inside. A lack of congruence causes stress and affects your physical health and premature death.

So let’s replace those negative thoughts which produce negative words with God’s Words which produce positive thoughts and positive words. Four easy steps:

  1. Acknowledge that an issue exists in your life
  2. Reflect on what is wrong with it
  3. Consider how can you cope with it
  4. Ask whether you can do it alone of if you need help

You need God’s help through the work of the Holy Spirit for all of the above once you acknowledge this you’re on your way to replacing the wrong words with the right words. Remember it’s not just positive thinking but thinking that aligns with your actions.

Matt 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Corrective Message #2
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | August 19, 2009 at 08:28 AM EDT | No Comments

We are working on detoxifying your mind and the first step is to “Consciously Control Your Thoughts” Today I will give you the corrective measure #2

Thoughts create your mood

Fear based emotions will cause depression when this happens your thoughts will be characterized by negativity

How to combat this:

#1 Take every thought you have a run it through your mental strainer 2 Cor 10: 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

#2 Make a conscience decision to accept the thought (if it is good for you) or reject it (if it is bad for you.)

#3 Never let thoughts wonder through your mind unchecked

Remember there’s nothing wrong with talking to yourself out loud and talking to God out loud. In fact talking out loud enhances your ability to think more clearly. It is an excellent way of looking at you thoughts and the feelings you are experiencing. When I read the Old Testament I believe Moses and others talked out loud all the time. Moses was in the wilderness for forty years how do you think his mission from God became so clear to him.

#1 of Thirteen Steps
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | August 19, 2009 at 08:25 AM EDT | No Comments

Over the course of the next few weeks I am going to give you 13 simple steps to sweep out the toxins in your thinking. We know from God’s Word thinking correct thoughts (Romans 12:2; ‘transformed by the renewal of you mind’) will revolutionize your life. We have been on a long journey of fasting from wrong thinking and it has generated one of the largest responses I have ever received. So let’s continue the process. I would suggest copying these to a folder or make a hard copy so you can reference them daily.

  1. This is not the last part of the journey, because mastering your thought life is a lifelong process; it has no end.
  2. The beginning lies in consciously deciding to change the way you think.  Make that change and the results will last forever.

Here is the good news; neurological research is also showing the potential for non-drug interventions and it follows closely the detoxification steps we will go over. The plan is to get rid of toxic thoughts and emotions once and for all…why, God wants you healed and… they are killing you, spiritually and physically.

Detox Step #1

Consciously Control Your Thoughts

Ask yourself the following questions:

How many “could-have” “would have” “should have” statements did you utter today?

How many “if only” were in your vocabulary today?

Did you replay conversations or situations in your head today

How much time do you spend speculating?

Is your mind passive (Thinking, I wish this would happen)

Are you honest with yourself

Do you say one thing and mean another

Is your thinking distorted? Are you forming a personal identity around a problem or disease? Do you speak about “my arthritis,” my  multiple sclerosis” or my heart problem?”

Do you make comments like, “Nothing ever goes right for me.”

If you answered yes to ONE of these, your thought life needs to be detoxified right now.

This is the first and main step, understand that the mind is powerful enough to make you sick then it is also powerful enough to heal you.

Faith is action and the first step to your healing is to validate you faith with your action (James 2:20). Over the next few days I will give you the corrective measure on how to Consciously Control Your Thoughts

Corrective measure #1

Take a look at your mental process, this is essential. Toxic emotions arise from three negative and incorrect beliefs that people commonly think.

I must do well.

You must treat me well.

The world must be easy

In real life no one ever does well all the time, everyone is mistreated sometimes, and life is not always easy or fair. This is unrealistic thinking; by demanding unrealistic performance from yourself puts your mind and body in stress mode and has a negative effect on your body, soul and spirit.

Ditch Unrealistic Thinking…today…you can do this

1 John 4:4b the one who is in you, is greater than the one who is in the world.

Toxic Emotions
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | July 29, 2009 at 02:06 PM EDT | No Comments

By now you should have read enough of my Biblical teachings that you understand your thoughts are toxic and deadly. Take this one for instance; anger, hostility and anxiety affect your heart so directly by triggering hypertension and coronary artery disease; that your cardiovascular system is the fist target of those nasty little chemicals that toxic emotions release. Neurologically speaking, your heart is ultra-sensitive to what you think and feel-your thoughts directly affect the state of your heart, physically.

Jesus consistently refers to the heart as your spirit…not as the muscle that pumps your blood…these nasty emotions also affect you spiritually; either way if condition is not corrected you die, physically and spiritually.

Got any toxic emotions you want to release today…God is waiting to hear from you.

More Than Enough
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | July 29, 2009 at 02:05 PM EDT | No Comments

Most of you know that Ginger and I have small house dog named “Bronco.” He is a smart little guy and knows that he gets a treat when he goes outside and acts accordingly to what he has been taught. He will then come in and receive his “treat.” He will bark to go out side again only to make an appearance as if he was to accomplish something and then return rather quickly to receive yet another treat. It’s as if he is saying, “I don't have enough...” and he knows how to serve to get more. If we go through life saying, “I don’t have enough” we live in world that has an invisible fence that keeps us in the backyard of lack and deficiency; this is not where God wants you. Have you learned to honor your creator! In God’s economy we never say, "I don't have enough money. I don't have enough time. I don't have enough friends. I don't have enough experience. I don't have enough education..."

Get Rid of this stinking thinking!

The God-of-more-than-Enough lives in you.
Adjust your thinking now.  ENOUGH is inside of you.  JEHOVAH JIREH—The Lord, the Provider—is in you.

Whatever you SEEM to not have enough of, SOW.  If you don’t seem to have enough friends, sow friendship. Proverbs 18:24.   When you give what you have, it reinforces that you BELIEVE God will provide.

BELIEVE: YOUR GOD WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEEDS (Phil 4:19); and the DESIRES of your heart (Psalm 37:4).

Meditate on the Power of the Hands of Jesus.   When the little boy gave his 5 loaves and 2 fish, he put it in the hands of Jesus...It was multiplied to feed 5000. John 6:1-14.  Whatever seems to be lacking in your life—put in the hands of Jesus—commit to Him, and He will multiply it. Whatever His hands touched was healed, delivered, and empowered.

Expect the blessing of God to come upon you AND overtake you. Deut. 28:2 (This “blessing” is your inheritance because of the cross—Galatians 3:13)

Meditate: “I have come that you would have life in abundance, to the FULL, till it overflows.”- Jesus. John 10:10b Amplified.

Believe it and Pray it.
The God of more than enough—El Shaddai—lives in me.  THEREFORE, I always have enough; God shall supply ALL my needs, according to His riches. My God is more than enough. He fills me to the full, and His blessings overtake me.
He gives back to me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over!

Your friend for CHANGE. Your friend for LIFE… Jesus Christ

What If I Don't Make It?
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | July 22, 2009 at 02:24 PM EDT | No Comments

Have you ever said…“What if I don’t make it?”  What if I don’t make it through this financial trouble; what if I don’t make it through this sickness; what if I don’t make it through this trial, etc. You must eliminate this from your thought life, and your vocabulary.  Even if you rarely think this, it's a mindset that the devil subtly uses to suggest the possibility of failure. Remember you’re not what you do; you are what you think so stop thinking wrong thoughts and start thinking right thoughts and doing right actions.

CHANGE IT TODAY:
Realize, you’ve already made it!  If you’re a child of God, you are going to live forever.  Sometimes, PERSPECTIVE is all we need to take the pressure off of our performance and temporary trial.

Whatever you’re facing is TEMPORARY. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, "For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison."  This too shall pass!

You are more than a conqueror! (Romans 8:37) THIS HAS TO PERMEATE YOUR MIND.  As it does, that’s what turns it into a MIND-SET that creates the life of victory.

Faith always finds a way (Luke 5:19). And JESUS is PRAYING FOR YOU that your faith will not fail (Luke 22:42).

The idea of ‘not making it’ is not a part of the plan!  Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “I know the plans I have for you—FOR GOOD, and NO HARM."

Rest in the fact that God will never fail you, nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).  It's like a teacher that refuses to fail a student, no matter what he’s going through...that's what God is like toward us!
Believe it and Pray and it:
I am more than a conqueror.  No matter what I’m going through is temporary.  I already have the victory. And this is the victory: My Faith.  My faith will not fail, because Jesus is praying for me right now (Hebrews 7:25). God will not fail me. Love will not fail me. The Holy Spirit will not fail me.  I will go through the mountain, go over the mountain or move the mountain, in Jesus’ Name.

Jealousy will destroy your God given talent…have you ever thought all other people have more than you…” It's a mentality that also thinks:  someone else’s success is a threat to my own; or my success is a threat to others.  This is nonsense.  Jealousy will cause greed, and unhealthy competition.  When you think ‘there isn’t enough, you become stingy and reluctant to give. As a result, you paralyze our own harvests.

Fast from this wrong thinking today…
The earth is abundant, and always will be. Great wealth is still in this earth. Psalm 24:1 says, "The earth is the Lord’s, and the FULLNESS thereof"---notice: FULLNESS, not emptiness.

There is a seed in every harvest.  Yes, that’s what I meant!  Of course, we know there is a harvest in every seed. But we need to realize we will never run out of seeds, which will always perpetuate harvests. Any body who understands return knows you have to sow a seed to receive a harvest. Start giving today and give your way out of this wrong way of thinking.

God is reserving treasures for you. "I will give you the treasures of darkness. And hidden wealth of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name." (Isaiah 45:3)

Stop thinking your success deprives others OR that others’ success deprives you.  We need to realize in a DEEP way, that having the blessed life ourselves is infinitely more generous and good for others, than us not being blessed.  Give up thinking: “I should be deprived, since there are others who don’t have what they need.’  It’s not Biblical…
We have to begin believing there is enough for us, AND for those around us.   No one HAS to be deprived of joy, abundance, and successful relationships.

As He is, so are we in this world. (1 John 4:17) Jesus fed MULTITUDES, not just a few.  He healed EVERYONE who touched Him--Mark 3:10. He found money in fish’s mouths.  He turned 5 loaves and 2 fish into an all-you-can-eat buffet for 5000 men! He never saw anyone’s need as too great.  He always knew there was enough.  When He fed the multitudes, they ate, as MUCH AS THEY WANTED, and then there was plenty left over.
(John 6:12-13)

Believe it today and pray it today:
Abundant blessing is always available for me.  I will always have a supply, because I will always have seeds to sow.  I expect the treasures of God to show up in my life beginning today. My success deprives no one except the devil!  I am blessed to be a blessing.  The anointing to meet an abundance of needs is in me, in Jesus’ Name!

Restoration
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | July 21, 2009 at 03:30 PM EDT | No Comments

In worship at Inspiration Church we talked about restoration and how important it is that we come to our senses and cry out to the Father and say, “I need you.” It’s at that point the restoration process begins and NO body is beyond the Grace of God. God doesn’t want people who are enslaved; He wants wants sons and daughters…adopted into His family who are removed from bondage. Too many people have the mentality that if can only find freedom they will be free but earthly freedom=bondage to sin.  You many think you have lost something but maybe you needed to loose it so God could restore you with something far greater. So today we’re fasting from the thought that says: “How could I ever recover from this loss?”  We’ve all lost something at one time or another in our lives.  If it hasn’t been money, it's been time, or relationships, opportunity or HOPE.  We’ll today we begin to GET IT BACK!

We must abstain from the thought that we can’t recover; or 'we’ll never know great days like we did in the past’; 'I’ve lost too much to recover.'

Let this thought permeate your mind:  God is a God of restoration.  Joel 2:25-26...‘I will the restore the years that have been lost.’  Whether it's the stock market, bad decisions, what others have done to you—God will restore.
Get rid of the mentality of “settling.” We must refuse to settle—the 10 lepers wouldn’t settle for their leprosy.  They cried out to Jesus.  The woman with the demon-possessed daughter wouldn’t take no for an answer. Bartimaeus wouldn’t stop shouting until he recovered his sight. REFUSE to settle for the way it is.

Realize God WANTS you to go to him, and ask him to avenge you. In Luke 18, the unjust judge avenged the widow because of her persistence. HOW MUCH MORE WILL GOD AVENGE HIS CHILDREN!!!!!! (Luke 18:6-7)

All the promises of God are YES. (2 Corinthians 1:20) He has promised restoration and recovery—so ask Him for it TODAY. God wants you to recover more than you do.  Believe this.

Believe the promise:  the thief has to repay 7-fold of what he’s stolen. (Proverbs 6:31) The thief = the devil, time, the economy, fear. These are all thieves that you can expect to give back, supernaturally what has been lost in your life.

Re-position your thinking for expectation.
90% of profits in the world made between 1980 and 2000 went to 1.5 % of the people. That means 98.5% weren’t expecting much! Start expecting.

Expect recovery!  “You shall surely overtake your enemies and you shall recover all.” (1 Samuel 30:8)

Believe it and Pray it TODAY:
I will recover all that has been lost in my life.  I expect the restoration of lost relationships, lost money, lost hope and lost opportunities. I will not settle for loss and lack.  God will avenge me.  He will restore.  I ask Him and expect Him to avenge me of all that has been lost in my life.  I call forth a seven-fold return of what has been taken from me, In Jesus’ Name.

Doubt Part II
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | May 26, 2009 at 09:58 AM EDT | No Comments

Today we continue to think about doubt and how to attack it. The only way to attack doubt is to activate your faith and some of you right now are saying “I doubt my lack of faith is the reason I doubt.” Let’s think about that thought, I believe in you and so does Jesus, that’s why He said, “Why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31).  Clearly, He believes in you, and in our ability to be free from doubt. Where do these thoughts of “Doubt come from.”

Discover the root of doubt.  Doubt comes when we judge our situation by what it looks like or what we feel, rather than by what God said. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Understand the meaning.  Doubt means DOUBLE; to be divided in your mind.  We must CHOOSE to believe ONLY the Word of God.

Recognize the consequence of doubt—James 1:6-7.  The one who doubts CAN’T receive from God.

Starve your doubt. When the thought of doubt comes, replace it with the exact opposite thought.  For example, the thought comes: I’m not sure I can overcome this.”  Replace it immediately with:  I am more than a conqueror; more than an over comer through Him who loves me. Romans 8:37.

Be child-like. Don’t over-analyze. A child does not doubt.  You never hear 3 or 4 years old say, “No way.” They haven’t let reason and intellect, and life experiences dampen their faith.  See yourself as a child--A child of God. Accept what He says, and get rid of the “no ways."

Purify yourself in a NEW way.  It's not about purifying from all wrong behaviors. It's purifying from all doubt; washing ourselves with the pure water of Gods promises. (Eph. 5:26)

Believe it and pray it:
I attack doubt today by choosing to believe what God says, regardless of what I see or feel. I will not be of those who don’t receive from God.  I feed my faith with the Word and starve my doubts. I reject the reasoning’s and logic that contradict the Word and I read the promises of God to wash my mind and heart of all doubt, in Jesus’ Name!

Doubt - Part I
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | May 26, 2009 at 09:55 AM EDT | No Comments

We are studying John 21 in the second part of this year’s sermon series, learning to live in “What Is,” and not “What If.” We are learning that your thoughts produce your actions and to many times you doubt your thoughts and you produce wrong actions. When Jesus asked Peter, “Why did you doubt?” He was revealing to him and you that it's unnatural to doubt; you were born to believe! When you confess to believe in Jesus you can trust HIS spirit as it guides your thoughts and actions. So…let’s fast from those doubting thoughts today!

See doubt and unbelief for what it is.  It is deception. The devil is attempting to deceive us into THINKING 3 things: a.) that God’s Word won’t work; b.) that God isn’t good; and c.) that we don’t have authority over the devil.

True knowledge drives out doubt.   Awaken to the knowledge of God’s promises, and doubt will begin to die.

Eliminate Passivity.  We must not tolerate doubt in our heart.  Proverbs 4:20 says, “Watch over your heart with ALL DILIGENCE...”  Refuse to accept the lie that “we all doubt.” Doubts do come, but we must drive them out.

Go back to the garden. (Genesis 2:15) Adam’s life was destroyed, because he didn’t drive out doubt from the Garden of Eden. When we question God’s Word, we open the door to doubt, unbelief and the devil.  SHUT THE DOOR.  How?  Fill your mind and heart with the promises of God.

Give up gambling!  What do I mean?  Believing anything OTHER than God’s Word is a gamble.  Only His promises are a sure thing.

2 Corinthians 1:20—all the promises of God are YES.  1 Kings 8:56 says, “Not one Word has failed of ALL His good promise.”

Believe it and pray it:
I declare that God’s Word works; that God IS good; and that I have authority over the devil.  I drive out the devil from the garden of my heart by driving doubt out.  I believe God cannot lie, and that every promise He makes comes to pass.  I refuse to accept doubt another day in my life, in Jesus’ Name!

God is good!

Repositioning Yourself
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | May 04, 2009 at 02:11 PM EDT | No Comments

Blog here.

Are you actively involved in your life? Too many people never live their life; rather they just do life. They live a defeated life and never live the abundant life that Jesus died for…are you one of “THOSE” individuals. If you are that life is over and gone today…embracing the victory in Jesus name. So today you’re fasting from thoughts of failure and defeat.  From this day forward, you are adopting a VICTORY mindset.  We are giving up and abstaining from EVERY thought of defeat or failure.

You are MADE TO WIN.  Get this in your thinking.  You are a winner.  “You are the head and not the tail...(Deut. 28:13)...You shall be above ONLY, and not underneath.” Notice the word: ONLY.  You are ONLY going to be above; on top; victorious.

Meditate on God’s promise: “Everything you put your hand to WILL prosper.” (Deuteronomy 28:8).   Fill your mind with this thought.  Expect to prosper.  Expect to succeed. Expect to have victory.

Even bad can turn into good.  Remember, Romans 8:28—"All things work together for good, to those who love God and are called according to His purpose."

 Expect the tables to turn!
Esther 9:1 says, “On that day, their enemies had hoped to overpower them, IT WAS TURNED TO THE CONTRARY; and the Jews overpowered those who hated them.” (In the Message translation: “This was the very day, the tables were now turned!)  In the day of certain defeat, God turned it into total victory.  And if He did it for them, He will do it for you! (Galatians 3:29)

YOU have heard me say and explain the word HOPE…we know for certain what God has done in the past HE will do again in the future!

Believe in the power of Jesus’ prayer. Luke 22:32—Jesus said to Peter (and to YOU) “I have prayed for you, that your faith would not fail.”  He gets His prayers answered! Amen?   YOU’RE NOT GOING TO FAIL!

Add this ingredient to every attitude, event, and circumstance of life: FAITH. (1 John 5:4)  This is the VICTORY, which overcomes the world…FAITH.
Pray it now!
I will never be defeated another day in my life.  I am redeemed from failure and defeat.  I am the head and not the tail.  Everything I put my hand to will succeed and prosper.  No matter what is against me, I expect the tables to turn to my favor.  My faith will not fail, because Jesus is praying for it! Amen!

Fasting From Thoughts of Failure and Defeat
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | April 24, 2009 at 10:55 AM EDT | No Comments

This Sunday we are moving into the second phase of understanding your thoughts.  #1 You have learned to listen to your spirit to think correctly, #2 Now… we will be learning to implement those thoughts into your life…action and then #3 When you get the thinking right, acting right and finally to reposition yourself for success. What an exciting journey; remember it’s not about the destination it’s about the journey; it’s not about reacting but acting. Love is action and God is LOVE.

You may be thinking how I am going to accomplish this; you can’t but God can and HE will; HE doesn’t force what does not fit.  SO today, we’re fasting from thoughts of failure and defeat.  From this day forward, we are adopting a VICTORY mindset.  We are giving up and abstaining from EVERY thought of defeat or failure.

1. You are MADE TO WIN.  Get this in your thinking.  You are a winner.  “You are the head and not the tail...(Deut. 28:13)...You shall be above ONLY, and not underneath.” Notice the word: ONLY.  You are ONLY going to be above; on top; victorious.

2.  Meditate on God’s promise: “Everything you put your hand to WILL prosper.” (Deuteronomy 28:8).   Fill your mind with this thought.  Expect to prosper.  Expect to succeed. Expect to have victory.

3. Even bad can turn into good.  Remember, Romans 8:28—"All things work together for good, to those who love God and are called according to His purpose."

5. Believe in the power of Jesus’ prayer. Luke 22:32—Jesus said to Peter (and to YOU) “I have prayed for you, that your faith would not fail.”  He gets His prayers answered! Amen?   YOU’RE NOT GOING TO FAIL!

6. Add this ingredient to every attitude, event, circumstance of life: FAITH. (1 John 5:4)  This is the VICTORY, that overcomes the world, even our FAITH.

Think it and Say it:
I will never be defeated another day in my life.  I am redeemed from failure and defeat.  I am the head and not the tail.  Everything I put my hand to will succeed and prosper.  No matter what is against me, I expect the tables to turn to my favor.  My faith will not fail, because Jesus is praying for it! Amen!

Stop saying, "What If?"
By Thoughts from Pastor Lynn | April 24, 2009 at 10:53 AM EDT | No Comments

After forty days of fasting from wrong thoughts my spirit will not let me stop this process. The theme at Inspiration Church in 2009 is, “Faith Causes the Intellect to See the Unseen.” In numerous ways I am noticing many individuals who are just now starting to, “See the Unseen” in their life… so we are going to enter the second phase of the education process this Sunday. Taking control of your thoughts through the spirit of God is a big step in the faith direction. So now you are going to be challenged to “Trust your Thoughts.” It’s one thing to start thinking the thoughts that the Spirit of God is giving you… but now you have to start living those thoughts out. We are going to stop living in the “What If” and move into living in the “What Is” world; isn’t this exciting! God wants you to be present in your life; so start living your life today; in the “What IS.”

So for today lets fast thought that says, “Will God do it?” Stop saying “What If.”  So often, we question whether God help me in this thought process; will God answer your prayer, whether He will heal; whether He will deliver or rescue you.  You need to put an end to this thinking that blocks your faith and blocks God’s power.

Let's Change It TODAY:

  1. Always start thinking about anything with A PROMISE FROM GOD’S WORD… (What Is…): Psalm 37:5—"Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass."
  2. THINK HIS WAY, AND DO THINGS HIS WAY. (Psalm 37:5) Commit to thinking His thoughts and following His system—His way of doing things. (i.e. sowing/reaping; forgiving; love; faith; trust, etc.)
  3. Know He has called you. You may not be “called” to be a minister, but you are “called” to receive God’s promises and purpose for your life!  (1 Thessalonians 5:24 - The one who CALLED you is FAITHFUL, and HE WILL DO IT!)
  4. Turn your concerns over to Him.  Psalm 138:8 says, “He will accomplish (fulfill) what concerns me.”
  5. Be convinced: He does what He promises to do. Isaiah 46:11 says, “...yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass...”
  6. THINK ON THIS:  Jeremiah 32:17 says, “Nothing is too difficult for Thee.”

  7. Think: Possibility!!!! In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “All things are possible to those who believe.”
  8. Never let the Devil fool you into thinking: “What If” and live in the promises of God,  “What IS”

THINK IT & SAY IT:
I declare my God is faithful to do what He promised in my life.  He will fulfill His promises which include saving, healing, restoring and blessing me.  He is the same—yesterday, today and forever.  I expect His miracle power in my life today, and I refuse to live in the past and unknown. Today I live in “What Is Real” His name is Jesus and HE IS MY GOD… in Jesus’ Name.
